Every engine on the Eeriee Railway had a name assigned to it personally, a beastly name suited to either its personality, its unique paint job or its physical looks. Frankenloco & Igor were two such engines, the first ever engines that the Eeriee Railway had acquired years ago. Originally two ex-Santa Fe Railway F7A & F7B locomotives, these former “Warbonnets” had pulled such legendary trains with the names of ‘Super Chief’, ‘El Capitan’, and ‘Grand Canyon’. They had roared out of Chicago pulling a long gleaming silver train of Budd stainless steel cars, raced across the plains of Illinois, thundered through the American Midwest with its stark yet incredibly beautiful and pristine landscape before finally pulling into Los Angeles, California.
